GUIDELINES:
Only previously unpublished stories accepted. Seeking high quality microfiction of 300 words or less. No restriction on genre. Stories with the best chances of winning our micro-fiction contest will contain characters, a setting, conflict and resolution with a touch of poetic prose. Make every word essential to the story with energy, spirit and wit. Send us infectious literary masterpieces that will make us gasp. A micro-fiction story of the highest caliber will have far more implications than what is written on paper. Make us jump out of our seats!
We'd like to have as much time as possible to judge each entry so enter today. We welcome published and unpublished writers. Send us your best work. Please type "MICRO" in subject line to avoid deletion. Enter up to a maximum of 3 stories per entrant, by email in the body of your message (please no attachments) or send by snail mail. You can make 1 total payment by Paypal, US check or US money order.
By snail mail, please send a cover letter with your name, brief bio, address, email, phone and title of your story along with a copy of your story as an (anonymous submission). Confirmation will be sent by email once payment has been received. International submissions welcome. Entries must be postmarked no later than November 1, 2009 to qualify.
